At the end of August, there will be a party in town; a big celebration of the 350th anniversary of the liberation of Groningen after a long siege by Bernhard van Galen, better known as Bommen Berend. In order to bring the festivities to people’s attention, the university and the city are shooting a particularly creative video featuring a song specifically written for the occasion.
