Students travelling by bus from Groningen Central Station to Zernike know the problem well: even if you’re on time, it’s always uncertain whether the bus will have space for you.
Line 15 is especially overcrowded in the mornings. It’s so full that since September, Qbuzz has added extra services during the morning and afternoon rush hours. In the mornings, fifteen buses now run during peak times—meaning there’s a bus every four minutes. During the afternoon rush, eight buses run on the line, approximately every 7.5 minutes, according to Qbuzz.
