Pop choirs Estrellas and the Erasmus Student Choir (from the Rotterdam university) performed together in VRIJDAG’s concert hall on Sunday.
The 24-piece Groningen student choir, consisting of altos, mezzo-sopranos, and sopranos, mainly sings pop songs, preferably about ‘female power’. The singers also create their own choreography.
Estrellas was looking for a pop choir with a similar repertoire, which is how they found the Erasmus Student Choir.
