Art duo VAAF, made up of Jonna Bo Lammers and Lotte Masker, have been working for days on a giant 14 by 8 metre mural of Aletta Jacobs. The artwork, on a wall next to the UB, is the first in a series of five murals depicting important scientists at the UG. Will the artists be able to finish the gigantic mural – 112 square metres in total – in time for its official reveal on Monday, May 23?
