Need a Covid self-test? Your faculty will give you one

The virus isn’t gone. Anyone at the university in need of a Covid self-test can get a testing kit at their faculty’s reception desk.

Even though most classes are back to being in person and the Covid virus seems far away, it’s actually still spreading. Preventative self-testing is part of the UG’s strategy to ensure that everyone can attend university safely.

No longer online

Last year, students and staff were able to order self tests online through zelftestonderwijs.nl. But the government removed that website in July.

Instead, the university orders self-tests directly from the government to give out to people. Anyone who needs a free self-test kit can go to their faculty’s reception desk. As long as they don’t have any symptoms, of course.
