On Thursday, the new exhibition Kaleidoscope will open at the University Museum, featuring more than two hundred unique objects from the museum’s storage depot.
Visitors can enjoy birds, colourful crystals, a BMW car used for research (on drunk driving), a furnished student room from a century ago, and the 60th anniversary of the university’s Computer Centre, among others.
To tie in with the UG anniversary ‘Making Connections’, visitors are invited to interactively choose their favourite objects to help determine the ‘real’ treasures of the university’s collection. The exhibition will last until November 17 this year.
