The hottest spots at Lustrum
University museumSpaceship earth
The University Museum is opening its doors again after renovations. Guest curator Eva Rovers set up the exhibition ‘Spaceship Earth: a look at planet earth from the perspective of astronauts’.
‘It’s a journey from the macrocosm to the microcosm’, says Rovers. ‘It makes you realise that everything and everyone on earth is connected. At each stop, a historical object from the university’s collection tells you a contemporary story about the richness and the vulnerability of the earth.’
The stops were designed by five young Groningen artists who each created a cabinet of wonders.
