Two members of Vindicat who in March released a pair of geese in a student house owned by association have been tasked by the Public Prosecution Service (OM) to perform a kind of community service. The OM announced this on Friday. It is not an official community service because there is no judge involved. The students also won’t get a notation in their criminal record. Animal organisations filed charges against the students after they heard that the geese had been released into the house to deface the property. The prosecution considers this a relatively minor offence, so it is dismissing the case on condition of the sentence to be carried out.
